Designed to mount directly onto small observation-class ROVs, with or without a manipulator, the Cygnus Mini enables accurate ultrasonic thickness measurement in confined and complex subsea environments. Its Multiple-Echo technology allows operators to measure through coatings as specified by Classification Societies, improving efficiency while reducing risk and inspection time.
Measurements are viewed and processed at the surface using CygLink software, with simple calibration performed topside. For added flexibility, an optional Topside Repeater can display readings remotely and overlay data directly onto the ROV’s video feed, while optional probe handlers ensure consistent probe alignment underwater.
