Thanks APPEA – Industry comes together again

It was extremely pleasing to see the oil and gas industry have the chance to come together again in person last week when the APPEA 2021 conference was successfully held in Perth.
In particular, it was interested to learn the event celebrated its 60th anniversary, which given the unprecedented challenges that we’ve all faced since the pandemic outbreak, made the occasion even more of a celebration.
From the reports we saw, it seemed an estimated 120 companies participated, which is excellent, as it gave delegates the opportunity to share insights on projects and operational plans.
The next 18 months looks likely to be super busy with activity.
As commodity prices continue to strengthen, and given that many operators postponed planned shutdowns due to the virus, the remainder of 2021 and into the new year looks likely to be a jammed-packed calendar.
At Nexxis we’ve already commenced ramping up our team and inventory as we anticipate significant demand for people, equipment, and of course, new robotic technologies.
