Mission to Mars: One Year in Two Minutes

What happens when your Robotic Crawler is up to 400 million kilometers away? Well for starters, any commands you send the device will take up to 22 minutes to arrive. This is just one of the obstacles the Mars Rover Curiosity faces on a daily basis. Equipped with cutting edge RVI equipment, including a panoramic camera, a thermal emission spectrometer and an X-Ray spectrometer, the Curiosity Rover spends it’s days driving, scooping, drilling and filming the surface of Mars.
